An’ da yaşadığımızda sadece o anı hissetmeye izin verdiğimizde endişe ve korkularımız kaybolmaya başlar. Çünkü asıl gerçek olan yaşadığımız An’dır. Ne geçmiş ne de gelecek. Bunu fark ettiğimizde korkularımızın nasıl da bir illüzyondan ibaret olduğunu görmeye başlarız.
Geçmiş ve gelecek odaklarımız An’ı yaşamamızı engeller. Kendinizi; geçmişinizi (pişmanlıklar, keşkeler…) ya da geleceğinizi (endişe, kaygı…) düşünürken yakaladığınızda hemen durun. Derin bir nefes alın ve An’a dönün.
AN’a dönmek için; o an etrafınıza bakmak ve etrafınızdakileri fark etmek yapabileceğiniz en güzel mini egzersiz. Neredesiniz, o an ne yapıyorsunuz, etrafınızda neler var, tüm bunlara odaklanın. Mesela yanınızda bir çiçek varsa çiçeğin yapraklarını, çiçeklerinin rengini, dokusunu, toprağını fark edin. Ya da yolda yürüyorsanız yolunuzun üzerinde neler var, hangi dükkânların önünden geçiyorsunuz, yanınızdan geçen insanları fark edin. Eğer yemek yiyorsanız yediğiniz yemeğin lezzetine odaklanın. İçinde bulunduğunuz An’ı yaşayın sadece. Bunu yapmak sizi An’ da tutar. Bunu sürekli yapmaya başladığınızda An’ ı yaşamayı daha çok deneyimlemeye başlarsınız. Deneyimledikçe de alışkanlık haline gelmeye başlar. Ve AN’ı yaşıyorsanız eğer korku hissetmezsiniz.
